The Vans Shop Riot, which took place on 30 & 31 August 2024 in Zurich, was a complete success. This year’s event offered some changes and innovations. The event kicked off on Friday evening at the Beast. There was a barbecue and a chilled skate session. Thanks to the Beast-IG and to Leandra Müller & Girls for the great food.

On Saturday, registration started at noon in the Freestyle Hall Zurich, followed by the team contest and the 4 team challenges, which were newly added to the program. We had a total of 11 teams, each with one woman at the start, the skaters travelled from all over Switzerland, we had a total of 43 riders who skated for the total prize money of Euro 3800.- and the entry to the big Euro final. Doodah Zurich with Liv Broader, Noam Lichtenstein, Oliver Weismantel and Lenny Jenni came out on top in the end and deservedly won the title of Overall Winner. To round off the event, the band CAGE from Bulle played a live performance right next to the Freestyle Hall. At the afterparty there were disco flair tunes by Crocknett’N Tubbs and drinks at Khouris! Many thanks to all the teams, helpers and people who supported this event!!!
