From Mountains to Streets: The Vans Snow MTE™ Hi-Standard Pro Boot — All Terrain, All Style, Always Ready

The ultimate version of Vans Snow’s signature boot arrives in new colorways created in partnership with team riders Benny Urban and Jill Perkins. It’s also accompanied by a fresh MTE High-Country 3L Outerwear collection.

Costa Mesa, CALIF. (October 15, 2024) – Vans is excited to unveil the latest version of its iconic snow boot, the MTE Hi-Standard Pro, now offered in vibrant new fall colorways. This release is a collaboration with team riders Benny Urban and Jill Perkins and is perfectly complemented by the all-new MTE High-Country 3L Outerwear collection.

The MTE Hi-Standard Pro is designed to excel in everything from park laps to powder runs, equipped with a host of performance features. For optimal comfort and fit, it features the upgraded V2 UltraCush™ liner, infused with Smartwool® merino for exceptional heat retention, airflow, and moisture management.

To ensure impact protection without sacrificing board feel, the boot incorporates a dual-density PopCush™ footbed and an UltraCush™ midsole, complemented by a Waffle Pro outsole. This innovative trio takes some of Vans Skateboarding’s top technologies and expertly adapts them for the slopes, delivering a ride that’s as responsive as it is comfortable.

Take all this tech and combine it with stylistic tweaks that fit the ethos of both Urban and Perkins, and you’ve got yourself something truly unique. Urban’s white-and-black boots combine the aforementioned skate-adjacent tech with styling that’s decidedly skate-inspired thanks to the use of Vans’ retro V logo. On the other hand, Perkins opted to lean further into an MTE™ franchise look with a mixture of brown and white shades and a secure, comfortable liner specifically molded to fit the needs of women’s feet.

To complete the look, Vans Snowboarding has also produced an MTE High-Country 3L Outerwear collection. Cut loose, sized unisex and tested worldwide by Vans Snow team members including Jake Kuzyk, the collection boasts 100% polyester 3L jackets and pants, the gold standard for lightweight, waterproof backcountry garments. The function extends beyond the waterproof properties as well, thanks to details like mesh zipper vents, stretch skirts and gaiters, and plenty of storage, both hidden and visible.

New colorways of the Vans MTE Hi-Standard Pro Boot and the MTE High-Country 3L Outerwear collection are available now at Vans.eu and select Vans Snow stockists.
